Getting Started with ReceiptLog
Everything you need to know to access ReceiptLog, create your account, and install the app on your device.
Accessing ReceiptLog
ReceiptLog is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means it runs in your web browser but works just like a native app. You don't need to download anything from the App Store or Google Play.
A PWA is a website that can be installed on your device and used like a regular app. It opens in its own window and feels native - just without going through an app store.
How to Access
Open your web browser (Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android, or any browser on your computer) and go to:
That's it! You'll see the login screen where you can sign in or create a new account.
For the best experience, we recommend installing ReceiptLog to your home screen. See the Installing the App section below.
Signing Up
Creating an account is free and takes less than a minute. You have two options:
Option 1: Continue with Google (Recommended)
The quickest way to get started. Just tap the "Continue with Google" button and select your Google account. No passwords to remember, and your name and email are filled in automatically.
-
Tap "Continue with Google"
On the login screen, tap the Google button.
-
Choose your Google account
Select which Google account you want to use. If you're already signed into Google, this might happen automatically.
-
You're in!
You'll be taken straight to the setup wizard to configure your business details.
Option 2: Sign up with Email
If you prefer not to use Google, you can create an account with any email address.
-
Tap "Sign Up"
On the login screen, tap the "Sign Up" link below the sign-in form.
-
Enter your details
Fill in your full name, email address, and choose a password. Your password must be at least 6 characters.
-
Verify your email
Check your inbox for a verification email and click the link to confirm your account. You can use the app while waiting, but some features require verification.
No problem. On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email. We'll send you a link to reset it.
