Managing Services

Set up your services and their prices so you can quickly add them to receipts.

Viewing Your Services

To see your services, tap Services in the navigation menu.

Each service card shows:

  • The service name
  • The default price
  • A VAT badge (if VAT is applied to this service)
  • A "Multi-unit" badge (if the service allows quantities)

Adding a Service

  1. Tap "Add Service"

    On the Services screen, tap the + Add Service button.

  2. Enter the service name

    Give your service a clear name, e.g., "Reflexology Session", "Sports Massage 60min", "Initial Consultation".

  3. Set the default price

    Enter the standard price for this service. You can always adjust the price when creating individual receipts.

  4. Add an optional description

    If you want, add a description that will appear on receipts.

  5. Tap "Save"

    Your service is now available when creating receipts.

Editing a Service

To update a service's details or price:

  1. Find the service

    Go to the Services screen and find the service you want to edit.

  2. Tap on the service

    Tap anywhere on the service row, or tap the edit icon (pencil).

  3. Update the details

    Change the name, price, description, or other settings.

  4. Tap "Save"

    Your changes are saved. New receipts will use the updated price.

Note

Changing a service's price doesn't affect receipts you've already created. Those keep the price from when they were issued.

Services with Multiple Units

Some services are priced per unit - for example, per hour, per session, or per item. You can enable this for any service:

  1. Edit the service

    Open the service you want to change.

  2. Enable "Allow multiple units"

    Toggle on the "Allow multiple units" option.

  3. Save the service

    The service will now show a quantity selector when you add it to a receipt.

Example: If you have a "Therapy Session" at €50 with multiple units enabled, you can add 3 sessions to a receipt and it will show as "3 x Therapy Session @ €50 = €150".

VAT on Services

If you're VAT registered, you can set different VAT rates for different services.

VAT must be enabled first

You'll only see VAT options if you've enabled VAT in Settings. See VAT Settings for how to do this.

  1. Edit the service

    Open the service you want to add VAT to.

  2. Enter the VAT rate

    In the VAT Rate field, enter the percentage (e.g., 23 for 23%).

  3. Choose inclusive or exclusive

    Toggle "Price includes VAT" depending on how you've priced the service:

    • On: Your price already includes VAT (e.g., €123 inclusive = €100 + €23 VAT)
    • Off: VAT will be added on top (e.g., €100 + 23% = €123)
  4. Save the service

    Receipts will now calculate and display VAT for this service.

Custom Items on Receipts

Sometimes you need to add a one-off item that isn't in your service list. You can do this directly when creating a receipt:

  1. Start creating a receipt

    Tap + New Receipt and select a client.

  2. Tap "Add service"

    Open the service selector.

  3. Expand "Custom Item"

    At the bottom of the service selector, tap "Custom Item" to expand the form.

  4. Fill in the details

    Enter a description, price, and optionally a VAT rate.

  5. Tap "Add to Receipt"

    The custom item is added to this receipt only. It won't be saved to your service list.

Tip

If you find yourself adding the same custom item repeatedly, save time by adding it as a proper service from the Services screen.
